Shandong Industrial Ceramics Research & Design Institute is a national industrial ceramic research institute, affiliated to China Building Materials Group. Shandong Industrial Ceramics Research & Design Institute has formed a national Industrial Ceramics Engineering Technology Research Center as the core, and built a domestic first-class technology innovation platform with ceramic permeable materials, ceramic anti-heat insulation materials, special ceramic fiber, ceramic film and equipment, and ceramic 3D printing research institute as the main components. Over the past 50 years since its establishment, Shandong Industrial Ceramics Research & Design Institute has undertaken hundreds of national and provincial scientific research projects including the national "863" project. Since the "12th Five-Year Plan", it has undertaken more than 100 military research projects, covering aerospace, shipbuilding, weapons and other fields, and supporting key materials and products for more than 30 national key weapon models.
