CRRC SMD(Shanghai) Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zhuzhou CRRC Times Electric Co., Ltd., established in Shanghai in 2017 after its wholly-owned acquisition ofSoil Machine Dynamics Ltd of Britain in 2015. It is a window and platform for CRRC to serve the marine engineering industry based on its technology focused and diversified strategy. The company mainly focuses on the development and technical services of various operational robots and submersibles required for marine resource development. It is one of company with the most comprehensive product range and the widest coverage of service depth in the world. Its main products include Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV), trenching machines, trenching plows, deep-sea mining equipment, marine new energy equipment, and supporting deck equipment.
