China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC) is the largest group in China for design, manufacture and sales of military/civil ships, offshore projects as well as maritime equipment. It consists of 46 industrial enterprises, 28 research and development institutes, 21 shareholding companies.Among the research institutes there are 360 major s of study and research, 30,000 technicians, 8 state laboratories, 150 large laboratories and 7 state technology centers with full capability of independent innovation and product development.
