Aerosun Corporation was established on September 30th, 1999 and was listed on Shanghai stock exchange in June 15th, 2001 with the listed stock name as “Aerosun” and stock code “600501”. The registered capital of the company is 324.403 $. The company can be traced back to year 1865 when it was called Jinling Machinery Manufacturing Bureau established by Li Hongzhang during the westernization movement of Qing dynasty. It was regarded as the cradle of Chinese national industry in modern times. After the foundation of People’s Republic of China, it was restructured and named as Chenguang Machinery Manufacture. It was subordinated to Arms Industry Ministry and Aerospace Industry Ministry former and later. Today it is a comprehensive machinery manufacturing company directly subordinated to China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC). AEROSUN covers an area of 767,200 square meters in which there are 300,000 square meters of building area with manufacturing industrial parks located in Nanjing, Shanghai, Beijing, Shenyang and Chongqing. Aerosun has 2500 employees including 540 technical members, in which there are 350 senior engineers and 4 experts enjoying Government Expert Allowance. AEROSUN owns research & Development Center, Information Technology Center, Inspection& Testing Center and marketing network covering whole China. It is a company with strong capabilities of product research, design and development, with complete customer service system and with modernization management. Aerosun consists of two (2) sales divisions, nine(9) product manufacturing divisions, twelve (12) majority shareholding companies and four (4) shareholding investment companies. The major products of AEROSUN include: special-purpose vehicles, Reinforced Thermal Plastic Pipes, flexible metallic hoses, expansion joint bellows, pressure vessels, tunneling roadheaders, artistic statues etc. The company is one of the largest production and research bases for special-purpose vehicles in China. It has the manufacturing permit of civil aviation airport refueling vehicle. Aerosun is the largest base for research & production of flexible metal hose and bellows expansion joints in Asia and one of the five RTP manufactures in the world. The products of artistic statue of Aerosun are well known in China and overseas. The tunneling roadheader product of our company has created the monthly tunneling proceeding records in China. The company obtained USA’s ASME ”U” and “U2” grade authorized certificate since 1993 and was approved by China’s National Quality Technical Supervision Bureau in designing and manufacturing pressure vessels of grade AR1, AR2 and tank vehicle grade CR2.
