Praxair Surface Technologies (PST) invented many thermal spray techniques in the market today, including the D-Gun, Super D-Gun™, High Velocity oxygen fuel (HVOF), and plasma spray processes. We supply variety coatings such as thermal barrier coatings, wear resistance coatings and corrosion resistance coatings and technical supports to customers in different industries such as aviation, oil & gas, nuclear and so on. PST coatings can improve the life time and efficiency of equipments and help customer to save cost. Changzhou plant is the first plant which was established by PST in China. Changzhou plant also is the only one coating plant in China, which obtained Nadcap certification.
PST coatings are widely used in oil & gas industry. The typical applications are as follows:
(1) Coating for drilling tools: coating on the drilling tools such as rotor and shock tools, can prevent the corrosion and wearing of salt slurry and improve the life time more than 10 times.
(2) Coating for MWD housing: WC coating can improve the wearing resistance and life time of the parts without affecting the signal.
(3) Coating for high temperature and high pressure seat and gate: WC coating can allow seat and gate running at 2000Kg/cm2 with wearing resistance and corrosion of H2S and Cl2.
