Rosneft is carrying out large-scale investment projects, entering new markets, establishing global energy partnerships and making large-scale acquisitions. The acquisition of TNK-BP is a strong example of these efforts. Once the deal is finalised and the acquisition is completed, Rosneft will become the largest oil producer in the world.
As part of international cooperation, Rosneft is working on joint projects with global majors such as ExxonMobil, Eni and Statoil and is also involved in production operations in Venezuela jointly with PDVSA and as part of the National Oil Consortium. Rosneft has long-standing partnerships with Chinese companies such as CNPC and Sinopec.
