Located in the national economic and technological development zone in Longquanyi District, Chengdu, Sichuan，CNPC Jichai Power Equipment Company Chengdu Compressor Plant, a professional manufacturer of reciprocating compressors, focuses on researching, developing, manufacturing and marketing natural gas compressor, vehicle-mounted compressor and booster used in air drilling as well as their packaging equipment. Besides, it also deals with the repairing and maintenance of high-powered diesel engines. The products can meet the needs of upstream，midstream and downstream of the natural gas industry, namely, natural gas development(boosting exploitation and transmission, air-lifting, light hydrocarbons recovery, etc.), pipeline gathering (main line, sub-line, gas storage, etc.), refinery enterprises (hydrogen compressor, nitrogen hydrogen compressor, carbon dioxide compress, etc.), and the needs of air-drilling. The plant has a fixed assets of 129 million yuan and a large-scale industrial factory building of 25,840 square meters. By 2011, it has manufactured over 590 various types of compressors. The products are sold to local markets of more than twenty provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, including Sichuan, Chongqing, Xinjiang, Qinghai, Daqing, Central China, North China, Changqing, Yunnan, Guizhou and Guangxi. Moreover, some products have even entered the international market.The plant is a consecutive winner of multiple honorary titles, including “Clean Production Model Enterprise” by the State Environmental Protection Administration, “Advanced Enterprise in Equipment Manufacture” by China National Petroleum Corporation, “Advanced Enterprise for Quality Management of Sichuan Province”, and “Brand-name Enterprise of Sichuan Province”. It is one of the first batch of enterprises allowed to utilize the brand of “CNPC Equipment”. It has maintained its titles of “Contract-abiding & Trustworthy Enterprise of Sichuan” and “Culturally-advanced Enterprise of Sichuan” for 19 consecutive years and 23 consecutive years respectively. Strong technological strength Adhering to the fundamental strategy of empowering the enterprise through talent development, the plant gains talents by both bringing in and training. Having more than 140 technicians of various specialized fields and over 380 medium and high level technical workers, it has also brought in a number of talents with bachelor's degrees or master's degrees who major in compressor or related to further improve its strength. The plant is complete with various advanced processing equipments and perfect technical detection facilities. Altogether, there are 462 various processing and testing equipment, including 125 units of metal cutting machines, the newness coefficient of which is 0.64; and 16 sophisticate, massive and rare equipment, such as beam gantry machining center, NC gantry boring-milling machine, precision horizontal type machining center, NC standing internal grinder, digital display standing jig-boring machine, crankpin lathe, crankshaft lathe, NC vertical lathe, and three dimensional measuring machine (imported from Italy). All of these have laid a solid material foundation for improving the overall quality of the compressor products. Complete product quality assurance system The plant obtained the ISO9001 quality assurance system certification certificate and the QHSE management system integrated certification certificate in 1997 and 2003, respectively. All its products comply with API-618 and API-11P standards. In 2007 it passed the API certification. Since 1998 when Sichuan Provincial Bureau for Quality & Technology Supervision arranged a random inspection on the quality of its compressor products, CNGCP had obtained qualification certificate for 13 consecutive years. In 2002, its products specifications were filed with the Sichuan Provincial Bureau for Quality & Technology Supervision. In 2005, it succeeded in the development of the CKY400 reciprocating-piston gas supercharger for drilling, which, according to the expert statement, had reached the level of the imported machines of the same type and could replace the latter. Full product line The plant is committed to scientific and technological innovation and sticks to the integration of production, study and research. It is also active in strengthening technical exchange and cooperation with the foreign companies. As the result of efforts in these regards, it has reaped abundant fruits in its products R&D and has formed a full range of product line, covering five series and more than 100 types of high-power reciprocating-piston compressors for gas storage, including ZTY integral series, DTY electricity-powered detachable series, CTY(RTY) oil/gas-powered detachable series, FY gas drilling series, and CCTY vehicle-borne mobile series. Among these products, the self-developed ZTY series was listed into the Localization-oriented Innovation & Development Project for National Major Technical Equipments in 1999. And the ZTY and CKY400 series were awarded National Major New Products certificates jointly sponsored by the five ministries including the Ministry of Science & Technology. The integral natural gas compressor, gas supercharger for drilling, full cover type air compressor for drilling and skid-mounted membrane separation nitrogen-producing system were granted national utility patents. The self-developed gas supercharger for drilling, vehicle-mounted natural gas compressor, ZTY630 high-power integral compressor and RTY1150 split compressor filled the gap in the domestic market and reached the advanced level of imported products of the same type. The ZTY integral natural gas compressor was awarded the third prize in scientific and technological progress of Sichuan and first prize in the scientific progress of Sichuan Petroleum Administration, and was granted the grand-name products of Sichuan in 2007. The gas supercharger for drilling gained the second prize in scientific and technological progress of Chengdu and the first prize in technological innovation of Sichuan Petroleum Administration. CCTY250 vehicle-mounted natural gas compressor got the first prize in technological innovation of Sichuan Petroleum Administration. The air compressor for drilling also gained the first prize in technological innovation of Sichuan Petroleum Administration. In total, the plant has declared 20 patents and obtained 10 national patents authorization. The full cover type air compressor for drilling was awarded the national invention patent. Ever-enhanced production capacity After more than ten years of development, the pant has gradually integrated its product line and formed an annual production capacity of 150 standard units of reciprocating-piston compressors. It is capable of designing and manufacturing all types of reciprocating-piston compressor units within the range of 85KW ～6000KW according to the customers’ requirements and meets a wide variety of needs, such as gas lifting, gas production, oil & gas processing, light hydrocarbon recovery, pressure-boosting exploitation and transmission and gas drilling. At present, the plant can manufacture more than 100 units of compressors and 15 units of gas drilling outfits and overhaul 120 diesels and diesel engine units per year. And it is striving to establish the most powerful compressor and gas drilling outfits manufacturing base in China with all its strength.
