CHINA NATIONAL OFFSHORE OIL CORP (hereinafter referred to as CNOOC, Headquarter, or Group), a central super-large-scale stated-owned enterprise and the largest manufacturer of offshore oil gas in China, which was established in 1982 with the registered capital of RMB 94.9 billion. The Headquarter of the corporation is located in Beijing and now has 65,800 staff. Since establishment, CNOOC has been keeping a good tendency of development, which develops itself from an upstream company engaging in oil gas exploitation to a comprehensive energy group with outstanding main operations and integrated industrial chains. In 2009, the annual productions of oil gas was 47,660,000 Ton and the capacity of oil refining and chemicals was 32,000,000 Ton, thus the company got the operation avenue of 209.6 billion and total profit of 52.4 billion. By the end of 2009, the total asset of the company reached to 518.3 billion which increased 20.4% compared with the amount in the beginning of the year.
