兰州通用机器制造有限公司成立于2003年，其前身是兰州通用机器厂。兰通厂创建于一八七二年，至今已走过一百多年的光辉里程，2010年10月，经甘肃省政府批准，实力雄厚的四川腾中重工机械有限公司全资收购并重组兰州通用机器制造有限公司，给企业注入了新的活力。
企业的主导产品有：钻井、压裂、固井、修井、管道运输、抽油、压力容器、炼油化工、专用锅炉、特种车辆、煤层气设备、冶金矿山、环保设备和军工等13大类100多种产品。产品遍布国内各个领域，为我国石油工业发展和军事工业发展做出了历史性的巨大贡献，产品远销美国、加拿大、智利、委内瑞拉、印度、沙特、苏丹、印尼、叙利亚、阿塞拜疆、乌兹别克斯坦、俄罗斯、罗马尼亚等国家。
企业占地面积50万平方米，其中生产经营占地面积21.3万平方米，厂房建筑面积85140平方米。企业下设11个制造生产经营单位，现有职工1290余人，其中高、中级专业技术人员200余人，拥有主要生产设备1000余台，其中精大稀尖设备200余台，设有检测中心和测试基地，年生产能力为20000吨，其中各类车装产品350余台，各型抽油杆千台，各种规格抽油杆200万米，各类压力容器4000吨，钻机部机200台套，撬装产品200台套。
多年来，公司一贯以市场需求为导向，以客户满意为依据，以诚信促发展。积极研发新产品，不断改进生产工艺、更新生产设备、科学经营管理，大胆创新，积极进取，为顾客提供满意的产品和全面的服务。
Lanzhou General Machinery Plant was founded in 1872, with a history of 135 years, the plant which old named Lanzhou Manufacture Bureau, Lanzhou Mechanical Bureau, Gansu Manufacture Bureau and Lanzhou People’s Mechanical Plant, and focus in 1952 with recent name. It was the first war industry and mechanical manufacture plant in modern industry history of Gansu Province, and also one of the earliest modern war industry and mechanical industry manufacturers in our country. In 1955, the plant was fixed to produce complete set of oil pumping mechanical equipment, after four times of large-scale extending and technological transformation, the plant have already developed into large scale first grade enterprise of the mechanical equipment and war industry equipment of our country. Main products include Fracturing Unit, Cementing Unit, Workover, Pumping Unit, Pressure Vessel, Special Purpose Boiler, Refrigeration, Construction Machinery, War Industry, etc. As the first plant which produces complete set of the oil pumping machinery, our products adopt by oil fields all over china and extensively used in Railway，Metallurgy, Mine, Coal, Electricity, Construction. Still find a good sale in U.S.A., Canada, Chili, India, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Azerbaijan and Romania, etc. The plant covers an area of 583,000 square meters; among them produce area 268,000 square meters. With 3800 workers now, And mainly divide into eight subsidiary factories and two produce additional workshops, there are nearly 3800 workers now, among them 450 middle-and-high-ranking professional and technical personnel, 4 enjoy Special State Allowance. Over thousands of sets of main production equipment, more than 200 sets of precise big and rare equipment, setting up inspecting center and test base. With annual design production capacity of 2000 tons, various truck mounted unit of 350 sets, various Pumping Units over thousands, Sucker Rods of 2 million meters, pressure container of 2000 tons.
