Cummins reported consolidated sales of $13.2 billion in 2010. The accumulated investment by Cummins and its affiliated entities in China currently exceeds US$1 billion. As the largest foreign investor in the Chinese diesel engine industry, the Company’s business connection to the country date back to 1975. After more than 30 years of development, Cummins now has significant ownership in 15 factories producing eleven of the eighteen Cummins engine families. In the aftermarket support area, Cummins has 12 regional service centers, 35 Customer Support Platforms and over 300 authorized dealers across the country.
