China Transport Telecommunication Information Group Co., Ltd (used to be known as Beijing Marine Communication & Navigation Company) was established in 1979 with the approval of General Office of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China to represent Chinese government in the operation of Inmarsat system. As the only legal agency of Inmarsat in China, CTTIC Co., Ltd is responsible for managing its satcom business within Chinese territory. On March 7th, 2016, the company was granted with the license of Chinese Baseline Telecommunication Service Provider by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
