The Joint Economic Development Initiative (JEDI) is an organization that represents the progressive partnership between three municipalities in Alberta, Canada. Its key function has been to facilitate and advance both outgoing and incoming foreign industrial growth for the region. JEDI’s primary industry is oil and gas manufacturing, and for its existing companies it assists with business growth and contract development in foreign markets. For incoming foreign industrial investors, JEDI assists with initial construction, operational, financial and labor needs. It also assesses proposed mergers and acquisitions.
