The OMEGA Company founded in 2009 by OJSC AK Transneft and LLC Petrolight develops and implements a multipurpose system of Monitoring of technical and technological state of extended Objects (The OMEGA SMEO). Till now more than 3100 km of the fiber optical sensor of the system are installed on different pipelines. The System provides high precision detection of location and nature of acoustic vibrations, spatial displacements and temperature characteristics of extended object such as pipelines, oil wells, railways, highways, bridges and power lines.
