The General Machinery Plant(hereafter referred to as “the Plant”)is an affiliate of Liaohe Petroleum Exploration Bureau of China National Petroleum Corporation. This large oil drilling and production equipment manufacturing Plant founded in 1967, which has a history of more than 40 years, and dominated by the heavy oil thermal recovery equipment. The Plant that occupies an area of 2.98 sq.km is located in Panjin city, Liaoning province, which borders the Bayuquan Port of Yingkou city and Dalian port to the south, the Jing-Ha Railway and Jing-Shen Expressway to the west, the Shen-Da Expressway to the east. The Plant is conveniently located and enjoys access to both local and international trade. The Plant has the perfect research & development, manufacturing, and selling system with 4 scientific research institutions, 13 workshops and 8 auxiliary workshops; with the auxiliary cold and heat treatment facilities of over 1220 sets, the fixed asset of 320 million Yuan RMB; with over 2,200 fully qualified and dedicated personnel including more than 300 senior engineers, engineers and senior technicians. The main products of the Plant are the oil drilling and production equipment such as heavy oil thermal recovery equipment, conventional oil production equipment, gas production equipment, drilling equipment, high pressure steam injection boiler as well as pressure vessel. And the Plant also provides other services as the repair of high power diesel engine and power unit, and the service of thermal recovery steam injection etc.. The products of the Plant are sold not only to all the oilfields in domestic market but also exported to several countries and regions including Syria and Kazakhstan.
