China Petroleum Pipeline Inspection Technologies Co., Ltd. is a specialized service company mainly dealing with pipeline intelligent pigging and associated business. Presently CPPI is the full member of Pigging Products & Services Association (PPSA) and National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE). It was appointed to be the specialized company in dealing with the pipeline inspection and test by State Administration of Work Safety in 2001, and certified for long distance pipeline inspection and test by General Administration of Quality Supervision, inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China in 2007. CPPI was awarded the certificate by General Administration of Quality supervision,Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China in 2011.CPPI possesses advanced high resolution inspection tools, research and development center which can research and develop the inspection technique and equipment by itself, the largest data analysis center and test center for pipeline intelligent pigs in China. 80% employees are engineers and technicians. Presently the annual pipeline inspection capability of CPPI is 10,000 km, annual pipeline coating inspection capability is 8,000km and annual tank inspection capability is 5,000,000 m3 respectively. Up till now, CPPI has carried out intelligent pigging for most of the oil and gas lines in China and entered overseas market such as Sudan, Libya, Syria, Kazakhstan, India etc. with the accumulative length of 60,000km.
